Conundrum: Displaced I
The world’s first true story about time travel.
Kev Pearson’s life is falling apart when he discovers a quarter minted in the year 2025. Determined to prove it real, he takes it to his friend, coin dealer David DeMinte — who calls it a fake but acts like it’s worth far more. Moments later, Kev overhears him making a secret phone call.
That night, Kev dreams of a man who claims to be Detective Connor MacKenzie of the FCA, a covert agency tracking temporal anomalies. The quarter, Connor says, doesn’t belong in this time. And others — dangerous others — are already looking for it.
Now, Kev is being hunted for something he doesn’t understand. Every answer he finds leads to more impossible questions—about time, destiny, and the origins of humanity itself. What begins with a single coin will take him across the boundaries of time… and reveal truths mankind was never meant to know.
Reviews

This is one of the craziest time-travel mythology stories I’ve ever read! I can’t wait to read the other two.

This was a fast-paced story that kept me hooked from page one.

The author has a great gift for storytelling. To be able to create a story to make a person want to keep reading is a real gift.

I loved how the author framed the time travel topic and made it seem real. The best part of this novel for me is how the author builds up suspense by narrating different incidents in different times, ultimately merging all the incidents with a reason well explained in the future.

I am amazed that you could develop a timeline for this story. Putting the amount of detail and effort into translating the timeline into a cohesive story is very impressive.
