Conundrum: Displaced I

Conundrum: Displaced I

Meet the characters

Welcome to the world’s first true story about time travel!

In 2006, Kev Pearson discovered a quarter mint stamped in the year 2025. His search for the origin of this quarter led him to those answers and more. What if you could have those answers, too? Would you want to know?

Kev Pearson is at the lowest point of his life when he accidentally discovers a quarter with the mint stamp of 2025. He set out on a mission to determine the authenticity of this coin by taking it to David DeMinte, a rare coin dealer and a friend. David declares it a fake, though his actions say differently after Pearson refuses to sell. He hears David make a covert phone while leaving. Pearson now knows he’s onto something more significant than his problems.

Later that afternoon, Pearson receives a message inside a dream. Detective Connor MacKenzie, the head of an organization called the FCA, explains that Pearson has stumbled across an anomaly out of time. They’re sending someone to retrieve it. Connor also explains that enemies are searching for the quarter, and they, too, are coming. Is Pearson’s discovery indeed a coin out of time? He’ll come to know the answers to all of his questions, including answers to questions no one dares ask.

This is one of the craziest time-travel mythology stories I’ve ever read! I can’t wait to read the other two.

The author has a great gift for storytelling. To be able to create a story to make a person want to keep reading is a real gift.

I loved how the author framed the time travel topic and made it seem real. The best part of this novel for me is how the author builds up suspense by narrating different incidents in different times, ultimately merging all the incidents with a reason well explained in the future.

I am amazed that you could develop a timeline for this story. Putting the amount of detail and effort into translating the timeline into a cohesive story is very impressive.
